he Zoo in Wroclaw, created in the year 1865, is the oldest zoological garden in Poland. For many years it has been also one of the largest in Europe and its animals collection — over 7,000 mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish belonging in total to 565 species — in spite of the double extinction because of the two world wars, is still one of the largest in Europe and the most numerous in Poland. Our children will be especially pleased while visiting the Zoo, but their parents will also find on its 30 hectares of greenness the opportunity to a nice rest.
